Authenticity
To Live With Grace means the real YOU shows up every single day. You do your best with what you have. To recover from loss and grief — or to turn your Time, Talent, and Treasure into Legendary Wealth — you become all you are meant to be when you choose to be actively authentic.
Definition: Being authentic is living your life according to your own values and goals, rather than those of other people. Put simply, authenticity means you’re true to your own personality, values, and spirit, regardless of the pressure that you’re under to act otherwise. People who are Authentic are comfortable in their “own skin” and succeed in life. People who have no idea who they are or what they value rarely find the success they desire.

Grief-Stricken vs. Grace-Stricken
You Are Just…
Grief-stricken and everything will be ok…
Over time you will feel better and not hurt so much…
You just need to get over it and snapback…
If you have experienced a great loss you have heard these words. Maybe not exactly the same words but the same meaning and intent.
People, especially those close to you, have no idea what to say to help, so they express their feelings in odd ways. Usually with what they think you want to hear.

Happy Easter ~ Life After Death
We all have two choices... We either believe there is life after death... Or just death after life. Being a lifelong Christian our belief is sustained by hope and Grace. My beloved Jan saw Easter as something more than a rebirth of spring after winter, but proof of...

Remorse or Grace on the Road to Legacy
Fact: You will leave a legacy... It will either be a positive and lasting impact on your family, friends, or the world at large... Or, it will be negative, maybe worse... you will leave nothing behind that proves the value of the one life you had to live. I am not...

Bridging The River of Grief
Throughout my new book, you see we always have a choice between a positive or negative emotion.
We choose to be gloomy or grateful.
We choose to be pessimistic or proactive.
We choose, even when we don’t realize it, Regrets and Remorse vs. Grace.
What I have found is that most people in grief counseling accept…

Your Choice: Grief or Grace
I wrote this book to help you come to terms with the grief that stems from great loss. I wrote this article to share the big WHY behind my thinking.
My hope is that you will better understand how your choices and actions will either shorten or lengthen your time in grief vs. living your new life.
As a writer, there is one thing I believe in more than psychology, philosophy, or theology.
It’s the power of WORDS.
Words have meaning and they have the power to kill our spirits or heal our broken hearts.
Having gone through the terrible experience of losing the woman I loved more than anything or anybody, I expected to grieve.

A Word About Our Cover…
This book, especially the cover, saved my life.
You will see the traditional memorial candle with flame turning into the smoke that represents the spirit manifesting itself as a woman rising from death in the real world, to live in the spirit world.
I wrote this book to save me years in the prison of grief… and to help the world see there is a clear alternative: Grace.
