If you have experienced a great loss you have heard these words. Maybe not exactly the same words but the same meaning and intent.
People, especially those close to you, have no idea what to say to help, so they express their feelings in odd ways. Usually with what they think you want to hear.
You are Grief-Stricken…

The positives of Grace far outweigh the negatives of Grief.
When you are hurting, really Grief-stricken, do what I did…
Be Grateful for the love and life you had, not what you lost…
Be Resilient and even for only a short while, bounce back…
Be Authentic, be real, and honest with yourself…
Be Creative and work hard at finding a new outlet for your feelings and emotions…
Be Empathetic and truly give yourself time to feel and heal. Let others around you in.
