“Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.” ~ Samuel Smiles
A Reason to Hope…
Our dream is to love and be loved again.
It is also our greatest hope in life.
So often when we lose a person we love, hope is the first causality of our downward spiral into the valley of grief.
When we lose hope, we start to fall apart—because hope is the inner magnetism that holds us together.
As the pieces of our life explode into oblivion, we lose hope ever faster, causing us to truly land in the valley of despair.
Unfortunately, this is just the natural human condition at work.
We lose >> we then lose hope >> we then cut off the positives in our life >> we then lose even more hope in our future—especially in ourselves.
There is a way up and out…
We call it Grieve With Grace—in a way, it’s how we can recharge our magnets and pull all the broken pieces of our life back together.
Grace is a powerful force that energizes hope.
Gratitude gives us hope in the form of human connections…
Resilience gives us hope as we find the energy to get back up and back into the game of life…
Authenticity gives us hope that who we are is more than enough to become who we need to be…
Creativity gives us hope that by seeing, thinking, and acting differently we have lots of options available to us… perhaps hidden… but there nonetheless…
Empathy gives us hope that when we allow ourselves to feel and be felt, we will be in a better place…
To love and be loved again.
That is our hope.
That is always our prayer.
Amen,
Eric Richard Haas,
A man who now Grieves With Grace
Stone by stone we build our bridge of Grace
